PATTERN FOR a Boho style blouson top

A Blouson top features a gathered waist with a fullness that balloons out over the waistline. The waistline is gathered with elastic. The colors, prints and patterns and the embellishments on the fitted yoke make it a perfect bohemian outfit for casual days. The sleeves of this top also has a slight billowing effect because of its elastic hem edge.

Add extra seam allowance. And also ensure that the sleeve armsyce matches the armhole of the top.

The sleeve is long and gathered at the hem edge. Take sleeve length on your arm or take it as 22.5 inches.

FABRIC FOR THE TOP

The best fabric to make this top is a rayon or soft cotton like muslin. It can also be made in jersey fabric. Then there are silk, crepe etc. Just get a printed fabric for that boho vibe.
